As many of you know, February holds a special spot for our family – not only is it heart month, but it is also home to our favorite little heart warrior dude’s birthday. For our 7th annual year, we are so excited to be celebrating ‘Tripp’s Gifts’, during which we give back to an organization that has helped us or other heart families through this journey.

This year, we are so excited to share Brave Gowns with you. Brave Gowns is dedicated to transforming the hospital experience for patients of all ages by providing high-quality, comfortable, and vibrant hospital gowns. Their mission is to ease fears, support their dignity and hope during treatment.

During Tripp’s most recent surgery, having fun hospital gowns to wear (and show off!) helped take some of the edge off of recovery and those post-op walkabouts, and gave him something to look forward to. We would love to share this with other children that are spending time in the hospital to bring some joy to their day. Sponsoring a Brave Gown for a child in the hospital is an impactful way to bring comfort and joy to young patients facing challenging medical journeys.

In order to share the Brave Gowns experience with University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital families, we are so excited to be collecting Brave Gowns to distribute to other Masonic patients. We’d be honored if you would contribute or sponsor a Brave Gown honor of Tripp’s by making a difference for a hospitalized child.
